Since 1957, the Special School District of St. Louis County has provided Special Education Services to students with disabilities.  Also, the District operates two technical high schools providing vocational-technical education in more than 30 areas of concentration.

St. Louis Association for Retarded Citizens www.SLARC.org 
Non-profit that provides the highest quality services to help individuals with developmental disabilities (conditions or injuries which occur before age 22 and are permanent in nature) and their families to achieve their goals.
